EDUCATION/ CAREER ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM
The focus on literacy in Stephens County was officially organized in 1988, with the forming the Stephens County Literary Coalition.
Now under the umbrella of The Hope Center of Toccoa, the center continues to offer GED Instruction Mon-Thurs, led by an instructor and a paraprofessional from North Georgia Technical College. The available services include: GED, ESOL, One to One Tutoring, Class Tutoring, AVITA Clients, Computer Classes, Personal Finance, and Preparing for an Interview classes.
